PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The HVAC Take-off Estimator provides thorough estimates for new commercial HVAC construction. This position is responsible for estimating the labor, materials, and equipment required to complete the project on hand. Estimates for minor and major repairs and equipment replacement will also be required.
POSITION DUTIES:

Construct take-off bids and estimates of assigned projects
Review drawings/specifications and provide comprehensive proposals for the scope of work
Coordinates support activities
Maintain relationships with all parties involved in projects
Analyze, compare, and interpret detailed project information
Make sound and accurate judgments based on project information to assist in the preparation of change orders in close coordination with project management
Report to the Chief Estimator and/or operations for proposal reviews

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Previous relevant field experience in trade is strongly preferred
In-depth knowledge of a wide variety of HVAC equipment, materials, and methods of installation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work independently as well as a part of the team
