Overview 

Kilgore, a Summit Materials Company, is looking for a Quality Control Technician in our Construction Asphalt/Aggregate division. This position will be responsible for testing aggregate materials for gradation and quality properties in accordance with test methods and specifications.

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Sample and test aggregate materials
• Monitor materials daily to ensure our products meet the specified requirements
• Follow quality control plans and guidelines
• Obtain required quality control certifications in a timely manner
• Record and repot tests in quality control datatbase
• Safety perform all work assigned
• Safely drive a company vehicle

Skills & Experience  

• Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and anywhere within our work area
• Previous testing/quality experience highly desired.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Able to read, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Excellent math skills are required.
• Strong computer skills are required
