COMPENSATION

Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour DOE

SUMMARY

Kilgore Companies, a Summit Materials Company, is looking for a Quality Control Technician in our Aggregate/Asphalt division. This position will be responsible for testing aggregate materials for gradation and quality properties in accordance with test methods and specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sample and test aggregate/asphalt materials
• Monitor materials daily to ensure our products meet the specified requirements
• Follow quality control plans and guidelines
• Obtain required quality control certifications in a timely manner
• Record and repot tests in quality control database
• Safely perform all work assigned
• Safely drive a company vehicle

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and anywhere within our work area
• Previous testing/quality experience highly desired
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Able to read, comprehend, and communicate in English
• Excellent math skills are required
• Strong computer skills are required
• Driver's License
• Clean motor vehicle record
