Title : Inventory Controller I / II

Reports to : Retail Manager, KIC Logistics

Location : Kotzebue, AK

FSLA : Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining inventory control and conducting daily and monthly reports for KIC Logistics.

This will require consistent inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory counts in Epicor management system. Must receive incoming freight and put onto sale floor in an efficient manner.

Must work proficiently with KICL Administrative Assistant to ensure inventory is properly received and finalized in P.O.S. system.

This position assists with daily operation of sales of all store products. Must have a commitment to maximizing customer satisfaction with efficient services, all while ensuring that each customer is satisfied with their services and product received.

Must present a friendly and professional image of the company through face to face and telephonic interaction.

Inventory Controller I

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Conduct inventory cycle counts in order to maintain accuracy of all store & shop material.
• Ensure Epicor management system inventory counts are accurate.
• Verifies the packing slip against materials received, matching material description, quantity, and purchase order number to ensure accuracy between items ordered and received.
• Communicates closely with KICL Administrative Assistant to ensure all items ordered & received are purchased & finalized in Epicor system.
• Reports any inventory quality concerns to Administrative Assistant.
• Assist with preparation for and actively participates in yearly inventory audit.
• Price and stock merchandise.
• Accurately operate P.O.S system.
• Assure back stock inventory is properly labeled and stored.
• Act as a productive team member to increase sales and profits of KICL.
• Opening and closing store as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRMENT S :

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• 1 years of retail experience preferred
• Ability to productively work with a team

This is a fast paced multi-tasking environment requiring regular attendance. Work may require occasional overtime.

Physical Demands :

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Must be able to lift and transfer retail inventory from pallet to cart to store shelf.
• May lift up to 45lbs.
• May bend, stoop, hold, and grasp both paper documents and retail inventory.
• Ability to communicate orally and / or via email.
