Your Role at KIK

The primary purpose of this job is to move product within the distribution center inbound or outbound. To move product damage free, put away into proper locations and load out bound to customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Movement of products from location to location without creating un-sellable product or creating a hazardous situation through negligence.
• Accurately record and execute delivery of products to designated locations.
• Must be forklift certified before starting regular duties as required by OSHA (certification includes forklift film and test).
• Must operate forklift in a productive and safe manner.
• Must comply with all Safety Procedures including glad hand locks, jack stands, wheel chocks, etc.
• Must keep all packaging materials supplied to the lines with no downtime.
• Must keep pallets of finished goods wrapped, tagged and shipped correctly.
• Must be able to work independently while maintaining productivity. 
• Must be able to lift 40lbs. repetitively.
• Must work in a clean and orderly way and promote effective housekeeping.
• Must complete daily paperwork in legible handwriting.
• Must learn procedures for loading truckloads, containers and Less Than Truckloads (LTL's).
• Must be able to process warehouse transfers within productivity standards.
• Must be able to maintain 5s standards (items in their proper location and labeled).
• Must be open to working in other facilities and work overtime as required.

X Close vision (Clear vision at 20 inches or less)

X Distance vision (Clear vision at 20 feet or more)

X Color vision (Ability to identify and distinguish colors)

X Peripheral vision (Ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point.

X Depth perception (Three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distance and spatial relationships.)

X Ability to adjust (Ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Warehousing.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines.

• Knowledge in use of RF Scanner

• Accuracy and attention to detail a must

• Must be able to read, write and effectively communicate in English

• Ability to follow oral and written communication from lead, supervisor and/or manager

• Experience using an electric pallet jack and electric and propane forklift preferred, stand-up forklift and stock picker a plus

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $17.00. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
