in being a family oriented practice who has ties to the local community. We are a strong office team with 3 doctors, 4 assistants, 5 hygienists and 3 receptionists, and we are looking to add to our team! We are looking for a highly motivated receptionist to help us continue to provide great service to our community!

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your role will involve managing patient appointments, maintaining medical records, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related questions
- Collect and update patient information in electronic medical records systems (e.g., Eaglesoft)
- Maintain accurate and organized patient files, including medical history, treatment plans, and billing information
- Process payments and handle financial transactions with accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure efficient patient flow
- Assist with medical scheduling, including follow-up appointments and referrals to specialists
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns or complaints in a timely manner

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role in a medical office setting
- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems (e.g., Eaglesoft) and other office software applications
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and external contacts

We offer competitive pay based on experience.

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
