Kidz Nation Academy is a daycare ministry of Harvest Chruch, Charlottesville VA. Our goal is to offer support to the community through offering quality faith based child care with reasonable rates while growing the Kingdom of God.
Kidz Nation Academy is a religious exempt daycare. Be expected to work 30-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Our opening hours are 7:00am-5:30pm. Our organization is seeking qualified teachers for this position. The successful candidate will have a passion for children and will be a good fit for our unique school environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children and a willingness to work collaboratively with other teachers. The position will require working directly with children ages 6 weeks- 11 years, managing classroom activities, and organizing the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Be nurturing and caring toward the children in their care.
- Help prepare babies/children for their next stage in life.
- Keeping children clean.
- May be required to potty train children.
- Work with STREAMin3 curriculum.
- Maintain safe, organized classrooms.
- Set children up for success with early education.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Developing schedules and routines ensuring physical activity, rest, and playtime.
- Communicate with parents in a positive manner.
- Must pass a criminal record check.
- Must be willing to take child development classes.
- Must be willing to become CPR/First Aid certified.

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
