PURPOSE OF POSITION This is a supervisory position. Respite Program Manager is responsible for the implementation of KidsTLC philosophy of care and the KidsTLC Constitution. The Respite Program Manager will provide leadership, oversight, structure, and direction to the Thriving Communities program, ensuring all applicable regulations, standards, programs, and philosophy of care are adhered to. The Respite Program Manager will supervise and direct THRIVE Respite staff. The Respite Program Manager will work in collaboration and under the supervision of the Senior Director of Thriving Communities to provide quality programming based on KidsTLC philosophy of Care. This is an EOE position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. · Direct supervision of Case Coordinator & Care Facilitator positions. Provides floor supervision and coaching. · Trains and provides ongoing professional development of Care Facilitator & Respite Case Coordinators. · Assist in coordination of continuity of care between families and KidsTLC Respite clinical services and with external agency partners. · Ensures compliance with all COA standards and ensures continuous quality improvement. · Assist the Senior Director of Thriving Communities with program development and implementation. · Responsible for assisting the case coordinator in coordination of care with youth and families.· Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES · This position directly supervises the Respite Case Coordinators & Care Facilitator positions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE · Master’s Degree preferred or 60 college credit hours in social work, psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited college is preferred. · Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. · People management experience preferred. · Excellent verbal & written communication skills. · Able to adapt & be flexible. · Able to work independently & collaboratively with team members. · Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish trust, confidence, and mutual respect. · The employee must have the ability to respond to crisis and conflict with confidence and professionalism. · Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other web/cloud-based software. LANGUAGE ABILITY Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. COGNITIVE DEMANDS Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of industry specific software, industry specific systems and other web-based software programs, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
