KidsTLC is Hiring a PRTF Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Near Olathe, KS

NEW STARTING PAY $21.00FT/PT $3.00 pay differential ($24/hr.) from Friday 5pm - Sunday 10pm!! The Autism/IDD Unit Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for implementing individualized behavior support programming, collecting data, graphing client progress, and maintaining the safety and security of children residing on the Autism/IDD unit. Autism/IDD Unit RBTs will participate in weekly and/or monthly program trainings and meetings regarding individualized child programming, ASD specific instructional techniques, and all staff program meetings. All responsibilities and job functions will be conducted under the supervision of the Autism/IDD Unit Behavior Analyst. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Demonstrate a working knowledge of the treatment plan for each client and implement these plans accurately under the supervision of the BCBA.Maintain the safety and security of the children in care and attend to their needs in a nurturing wayComplete documentation accurately and within the required timeframeDemonstrate proficient knowledge of ABA methodologiesDemonstrate proficient knowledge of ASD/IDD instructional methodologiesComplete routine data collection and graphingBe part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, leadership is valued and diversity is respected.Demonstrate effective time management skills during administrative assignmentsMaintain clean and organized client and staff areasActively participate in staff trainings and team meetingsDemonstrate professional and accurate information when corresponding with parents, colleagues and supervisorsFollow operational protocols relative to positionComplete special projects that contribute to overall program development SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not hold supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Pay increase offered once RBT credential is obtained.Ability to work with youth who have emotional and behavioral challengesExperience working with children in residential, educational, or clinical environment preferredExperience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental disabilities preferredExperience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferredRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferredMust be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving recordExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a climate of trust, confidence, and mutual respect with othersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with othersStrong organization and prioritization skillsStrong problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsLANGUAGE ABILITYMust have excellent interpersonal, oral, record keeping and written communication skills.
