KidsPeace is currently looking to hire for their summer programs in Orefield, PA. These positions are part of our residential program for children between the ages of 5-21 with behavioral and mental health issues.

The Summer Unit Aide assists in providing physical coverage, guidance and directions to emotionally and behaviorally challenged children in a residential unit setting during the summer months. A Summer Unit Aide learns to demonstrate a variety of counseling and parenting skills that support the formation of trusting, supportive relationships with the children. The position will participate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans and unit programs that are designated to meet the special needs of the children.

3PM-11PM WITH WEEKENDS, 2 CONSISTENT DAYS OFF DURING THE WEEK

Hourly Rate: $16.50-$20.00

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; prefer candidates enrolled in college courses pertaining to Psychology, Social Work, Education and other relatable degrees
• Be 21 years of age or older (limited availability for candidates 20 years of age as Summer Unit Aides)
• Have valid drivers license
• Ability to pass physical/drug screen and background checks
• Interviews being scheduled now!

Trainings begin in May - PAID 2 week corporate training
