KidSpace Therapy Center is Hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Near Cape Coral, FL

We are KidSpace, a fast-growing pediatric therapy center specializing in Occupational, Physical, and Speech therapy. Our focus is to provide compassionate care, while creating a fun and playful environment where children can grow and learn. Our Cape Coral FL location is looking for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

· Producing daily electronic progress notes

· Performing therapy treatment in office, at patient’s home or remote location, and virtually.

· Carrying out individualized treatment plans that address specific functional needs

· Ability to collaborate with other disciplines on best practices to improve progress for patient/child.

- Willing to travel to multiple locations (schools, daycares, clinic) in the area

Job Requirements:

· State of Florida (DOH) license

· Medicaid Provider number

· Level II Background Screening fingerprints

· One-year experience in a pediatric setting (preferred)

Skills:

· Understanding of handling and responding to Autism and ADHD behaviors

· Have a caring and nurturing demeanor

· Ability to collaborate with other disciplines on best practices to improve progress for patient/child.

· Detail oriented

· Reliable – Willing to commit to a recurring schedule of treatment visits

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
