Kidsource Therapy is looking for full-time Clinic Scheduler for our Hot Springs clinic!

With over 160 staff and a range of comprehensive services including occupational, physical, speech & language, ABA, developmental therapies and behavioral health, Kidsource Therapy serves families who have children with various diagnoses including developmental delay, neurological or orthopedic impairments, ASD, SPD and language or feeding delays, etc. We pride ourselves on having a well-educated team with diverse clinical backgrounds. We are looking for a competent Clinic Scheduler to work at our Hot Springs clinic who will serve as the coordinator for schedules and appointments between therapists and patients for our Hot Springs, Arkadelphia, Malvern and Sheridan clinics. Schedulers must listen to the needs of the parent/caretaker requesting the appointment in order to determine the amount of time the appointment will require and then find the time that works best for both the child and the therapist.They should be professional and have the ability to manage multiple calls. A good scheduler can determine the priority of clients’ needs to determine when an immediate slot should be found or if a patient can come in based on the current schedule.Schedulers also manage cancelations, including a therapist who may need to reschedule a full day, finding the best alternatives for all involved. The Clinic Scheduler will work closely with the Clinic Director and Clinic Coordinator. This person will work at our Hot Springs clinic, but can expect the first 3 months of training to be at our Benton clinic.

Examples of tasks a Clinic Scheduler will need to perform include:

• Answering phone calls and e-mails
• Making phone calls to remind parent/caregivers of a patient's upcoming appointments
• Scheduling appointments for therapy sessions and evaluations, or re-evaluations
• Liaise and coordinate with therapists and parents/caregivers about any schedule changes
• Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur
• Keeping an eye out for clients who have frequent late cancels or no-calls/no-shows
• Providing instructions to parents/caregivers to ensure that they are informed on where and when to be for a therapy appointment

Required skill-set:

• Excellent communication skills, (written and oral), particularly phone skills
• A strong desire to be helpful and courteous
• Patience and ability to manage stress
• Problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Ability to multitask

Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

High school diploma required; Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree is a plus
