Job Summary:
Kids 'R' Kids - Centerville Hwy is seeking a full-time Pre-School Teacher to join our team in Snellville, Georgia. As a Pre-School Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for children ages 2-5. Your primary responsibility will be to educate and engage young minds through creative and developmentally appropriate activities. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Kids 'R' Kids curriculum and Georgia state standards for early childhood education
- Provide individualized instruction based on the needs and abilities of each child
- Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that promotes learning and development
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to plan and execute daily activities and events
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development
- Conduct daily health checks and follow all safety and sanitation protocols
- Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including attendance, lesson plans, and assessments
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with a Child Development Associate (CDA) or higher degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment
- Must pass a thorough background check and have current CPR and First Aid certifications
