· Job Description: Provide leadership and flexibility for the Kid’s Harbor elementary program. Create and maintain age-appropriate, clean, stimulating, and welcoming classroom environment. Share meaningful relationships with each child that will show the love of Christ. Pray for, support, and encourage fellow team members. Communicate well and develop relationships with the children’s parents. Plan daily activities for elementary program staff and children including weekly summer field trips. Participate in quarterly Kid’s Harbor all-staff meetings. Work with the Kid’s Harbor Director to vision and plan for future growth of the Kid’s Harbor elementary program.

For 10 weeks of the year this position is Temporary Full Time while County and City Schools are on Summer Break. Once the school year starts for County and City Schools, this position is Part-Time for the other 42 weeks of the year.

Mid-June through Mid-August: Temporary Full-Time (40 hours per week) 10 weeks out of the year

Mid-August through Mid-June: Part-Time (roughly 13 set hours per week with the opportunity to sub if desired)

Job Benefits:

· Workdays are Monday-Friday (no weekends!)

· This position allows great availability for subbing most of the year if you desire, get to know/work with all the age groups in our program

· The privilege to pray with and for the children as well as do devotionals and share His word with them daily

· Getting to join the children on weekly Field Trips throughout the Summer

· CPR/First Aid Training and MAT (Medication Administration Training) is required for this position and paid for by Kid’s Harbor
