Daycare Teacher
Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage children in educational play and social interactions
- Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about child's progress
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and clean-up
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues or concerns
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, such as nannying, babysitting, or caregiving
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to effectively manage behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require an associate's degree in early childhood education or related field)
