Job Summary
Administrative Manager Needed at Small Early Childhood Center in Manhattan. Full time. Somewhat flexible hours. Positive, creative atmosphere to work in, not your normal desk job!
This position is in person but does allow for one 1/2 day working from home.
Job Duties:
-Assisting with checking in clients and maintaining our database.
-Helping to keep supplies organized and neat, assisting with inventory of classroom supplies, clerical supplies, and cleaning supplies.
-Very light, occasional cleaning/tidying.
-Communicating with families via email, phone, and text.
-Helping to streamline operations.
-Managing and communicating with teachers and staff, including help with onboarding.
-Assisting with social media management and marketing.
-Assisting with coordinating and planning an upcoming move of the entire center.
Requirements:
-Completed Bachelors Degree in any subject
-At least 1 year of high volume and high responsibility administrative management experience., preferably working in an early childhood setting.
-Warm, inviting personality. This is a "front of house" opportunity.
-Ability to be interrupted constantly by phone calls, in person questions, etc and still stay on task!
Other traits that will come in handy, but are not compulsory:
-Experience and training with MindBody software
-Teaching experience with newborns - 5 year olds.
-Close proximity to Chelsea, Manhattan.
-Experience working in a small business of less than 20 employees, and closely with owner.
