IMMEDIATE START for a Medical Assistant needed for a growing nephrology practice located in Lawrenceville, GA. Applicants must have a friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our patients and their families. Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and communicate effectively with others are needed. Please be dependable, reliable, detail-oriented, and have an excellent understanding of patient care.

Employee will be crossed trained and work both clinical and clerical responsibilities.

Clinical duties:

• Prepare patients for examination and proper chart documentation of history, vitals and all current mediations. Complete prior authorizations, triage phone calls and other daily duties.

Clerical duties:

• Checking in/out, scheduling patient appointments, insurance verification, collecting copays or balances, answering phones and other daily duties.

CPR certified needed

Spanish speaking is a bonus
