Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning.
Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational goals
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
- Plan and organize activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social development
- Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning environment
- Assess the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive educational program
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on their child's progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices
- Experience working with young students in a classroom setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to develop age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children
- Familiarity with childcare regulations and licensing standards
