You're A Great Fit If You Have The Following:

  • A current Florida Director's Credential;
  • 2 or more years experience in childcare as an Administrator, Assistant Director or Director;
  • Implement and ensures DCF regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must!
  • Experience with Gold Seal Accreditation
  • Technological proficiency (Procare Software, Tadpoles, WatchMeGrow)

Job Summary

  • Program Management: Oversees the overall success and growth of the academy. Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes early childhood education and development. Create a nurturing and safe environment for children. Plan and oversee daily activities and schedules.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train qualified childcare professionals. Provide ongoing supervision and support to staff members. Conduct staff evaluations and performance reviews.
  • Licensing and Compliance: Ensure the center complies with all state and local licensing regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation required for licensing. Submits required documentation for re-certification of school license by deadline. Partners with DCF on best practices and compliance.
  • Parent and Community Relations: Build positive relationships with parents and guardians. Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress and center activities. Promote the center within the local community.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the center's budget. Monitor expenses and revenue. Seek opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols. Conduct regular safety drills and inspections. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility
  • Professional Development: Stay current on trends and best practices in early childhood education. Leads training and professional development opportunities. Encourage staff to pursue ongoing education and certifications.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address any conflicts or concerns among staff, parents, or children. Ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the center.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
