Kiddie Academy of Moorefield Station is currently seeking to hire dedicated, passionate, and qualified teachers for the following positions:
· Lead Teacher - Infant Program (Children 6 weeks to 16 months old)
· Assistant Teacher - Infant Program (Children 6 weeks to 16 months old)
· Lead Teacher – Threes Program
· Assistant Teacher – Threes Program
As a Teacher, you will be responsible for the daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children. You will also be responsible for appropriately addressing all concerns of parents, children, and classroom staff and creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for all children. You will educate and inspire young minds, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in various subjects.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students of different ages and backgrounds
- Experience in the early childhood education field is a plus
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Teach students various subjects
- Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions
- Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a calm and happy environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a comprehensive curriculum
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
