Kiddie Academy of Flushing is seeking an early childhood assistant teacher for 3-K/Pre-K classrooms.

Responsibilities include:

• assisting the teacher with planning and implementing activities from the Interdisciplinary Units of Study that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
• cultivating a positive relationship with each child and promote development
• establishing a positive relationship with families and providing opportunities for family involvement
• communicating with families daily and conducting family conferences twice a year
• attending Kiddie Academy staff development meetings, DOE Professional Development meetings and meeting weekly with Pre-K team to develop activities aligned with Quality Standards

Schedule:

M-F, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
