Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical and Dental coding, insurance verification, and managing patient accounts. Responsibilities: - Verify insurance coverage for patients and ensure all information is accurate - Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims - Review and update patient accounts with correct insurance information - Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies - Maintain knowledge of current insurance regulations and guidelines - Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide clear explanations - Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate coding and billing practices Qualifications: - Previous experience in a medical office setting, preferably in insurance coordination - Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-10, ICD-9 coding systems - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently - Experience working with managed care plans and dental insurance is a plus Join our team as an Insurance Coordinator to contribute to the smooth operation of our healthcare facility while ensuring patients receive the best care possible.
