We are looking for someone who loves being around kids to come join our hive. We are a curriculum-based school and are all about beeing the best we can bee! We offer a CDA program and love watching our team grow and expand.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans weekly for students
• Maintain portfolios to keep up with progress
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Create positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Track children’s progress and report to parents through the app "Procare"
• Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Keep up with Indiana State Standards

Skills

• Experience in Early Education (optional, but preferred)
• 18 with HS diploma or equivalent (required)
• CDA (preferred, not required)
• A positive, team player mindset!! (required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
