Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
-Work with Lead Teacher to create crafts/carry out lesson plans
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass a Level II background check
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare/preschool or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet educational objectives
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to students is a plus
- Familiarity with curriculum development is preferred
- A genuine passion for childcare and educating young children
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
DCF 45 hours completed before or within 45 days of hire
CPR and First Aid Training completed before or within 45 days of hire
**No Weekends or Nights**
Monday - Friday / Full-Time
Pay Rate will be based on experience and education!
