Position Summary

As the District Operations Manager, you will spearhead and facilitate operational activities across a defined group of locations. This role encompasses oversight of service departments, parts departments, administrative tasks, facility management, fleet management, training, recruitment, and customer experience initiatives. Essential qualities for success include confidence, competitiveness, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach. Critical decision-making abilities are imperative, coupled with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. A dedication to professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a sense of pride in work quality are fundamental to achieving success in this role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and drive aftermarket activities in designated areas and locations, focusing on revenue, growth, and operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain the appearance and functionality of dealership facilities across assigned locations.
  • Ensure security and safety protocols are monitored and adhered to at all assigned dealership locations.
  • Evaluate staff performance, provide coaching and support for skill development and career planning activities.
  • Implement effective aftermarket staffing and recruitment strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Monitor and manage fleet operations for assigned dealership locations.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new personnel and contribute to ongoing education initiatives for all reporting staff.
  • Oversee and ensure the completion of administrative tasks within assigned locations, emphasizing efficiency and timeliness.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Driven and highly self-motivated individual with experience in leadership and teamwork.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Possesses strong traits such as decision-making, problem-solving, and good judgment.
  • Proficiency in using computer and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Preferably 5 years of Business Management experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
