Kiawah Island Golf Resort is Hiring a Security officer Near Johns Island, SC
Once joining the KIGR Security team, you will be responsible for providing extraordinary customer service in a positive and helpful manner.
You will also be required to provide such service to Resort employees to empower them to better meet their goals in the attainment of superior guest satisfaction.
You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior.
The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. Protecting the owners and guest’s assets is a primary goal as a KIGR Security Officer.
The goal is to help the KIGR company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.
As a part of a tightly niched group, the KIGR security team works closely with other local entities. As a KIGR Security Officer, you will promote and maintain a good relationship with Kiawah Island Community Association members;
Charleston County Sheriff’s Office; EMS teams; and St. Johns Fire Department. Each KIGR Security Officer is trained in-house on First Aid, CPR, and AED.
Along with these certificates a KIGR Security Officer is also trained, and maintains a certificate as a Security Officer through SLED.
Each KIGR Security Officer is responsible for their own departmental paperwork, and ensures that it is completed in a timely manner.
Such paperwork includes shift logs, incident reports, employee accidents, and other forms of paperwork in the line of duty.
Finally, each KIGR Security Officer will follow and support the Resort Vision, Mission Statement and Core Values.
A qualified applicant will have completion of high school degree or equivalent certificate. Equivalent combination of related security training and / or military experience.
Have a basic knowledge of computers and computer programs. A KIGR Security applicant must have a valid operator’s license.
Must pass SLED criminal background investigation and screening. Must be in overall good health with the ability to lift 25 lbs.
and walk at a brisk pace for up to one mile in an emergency. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, and must be able to work rotating shifts seven days a week, including holidays.
Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
