As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will plan, formulate, administer and coordinate various long- and short-term engineering projects designed to improve the quality and performance of products and to reduce cost, waste, and delays in the operation. The position will further evaluate, develop, and recommend improvements in manufacturing equipment, layouts, and material handling equipment. The position will also develop and oversee production of new and non-standard products.Responsibilities:Product & Project ManagementPerform continuous process improvement activitiesReduce material and labor costEvaluate new and existing processes and equipmentSupport and manage Global Sourcing projects for product improvements, cost savings and/or supplier changesPlan, coordinate, and implement continuous improvement activities to improve key performance indicators (contribution, on-time, cost of quality, incident rate, net efficiency, safety, etc.)Product DevelopmentDesign and develop manufacturing processes and equipment to support new or modified productsSupervise/Assist in the development of non-standard productsTechnical SupportWork with sales operations to resolve field install or quality issuesProvide CSR/Sales support for standard and customer product inquiries.Qualified CandidatesBachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field3 years of directly related experience in fabrication/assembly manufacturing environmentExperience in BPCS or MRPII manufacturing systemExperience with Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement principlesKnowledge of ISO 9001Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and BPCSAbility to calculate accurate cost justificationsKnow of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement concepts
