Job Description:KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Fabrication Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 2nd or 3rd shift. 2nd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $2.00 while 3rd shift receive a $3.00/hour shift premium. To learn more about KI, please visit www.ki.comJob Duties:The Fabrication technician operates equipment which manufactures the metal fabricated frame for product being produced. This position is also responsible for:Quality inspection of the components being producedOperate fabrication equipment in the cell such as Robotic Welders, Hydraulic Banks, Saws, Benders, Drill PressesOperate tools required in the cell such as hand held drills/screw guns, riveters, impact tools, screw drivers, wrenches and any other tools that may be required in the area.Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Value Added Skills:Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not requiredTeam PlayerComputer knowledgeWillingness to learnAbility to train on any shiftPositive AttitudePhysical Requirements:Working in areas where it can get warmWorking in a smoke free environmentActivities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bendingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slowShift:This is a 2nd or 3rd Shift position.Hours are 2pm-10pm Monday – Friday for 2nd shift and 10pm-6am Sunday night - Friday morning for 3rd shift Starting rate of pay is $19/hour plus a shift premium of $2.00/hour for 2nd and $3.00/hour for 3rd shift Overtime during busy seasonKI offers a welcoming work culture with competitive benefits for eligible employees.
