KGO is Hiring a Project Manager (Data Center Construction) Near Albany, OH

The Data Center Construction Manager oversees and manages the construction of data center facilities from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The Data Center Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, safety, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
2. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
3. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
4. Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure that construction work meets industry best practices and project specifications.
5. Schedule Management: Develop and maintain construction schedules, coordinate activities, and manage resources to ensure timely completion of projects.
6. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, implement safety protocols, and conduct regular safety inspections to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and disruptions during the construction process.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, change orders, and progress reports.
9. Communication: Facilitate communication among project team members, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the construction process.
10. Client Satisfaction: Foster positive relationships with clients, address their needs and concerns, and strive to exceed their expectations in terms of project delivery and quality.
Requirements:
1. Extensive experience managing data center construction projects from start to finish.
3. Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and best practices.
4. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
6. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
7. Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
