Company DescriptionABOUT THE COMPANY:One of the top faucet brand in North America, it offers a diverse selection of thoughtfully designed kitchen and bath faucets, showerheads, accessories, bath safety products and kitchen sinks for residential and commercial applications each delivering the best possible combination of meaningful innovation, useful features, and lasting value.Job DescriptionThe Process Engineer owns the plant floor layout and encompassed assembly and fabrication processes for the assigned department and will be responsible for the improvement of the Productivity metric for the department as well as act as the engineering resource in support of daily production needs.Responsibilities: Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary point of contact for the Manufacturing organization for automated assembly equipment supportOwn and prepare reports for the productivity metric on a daily basis for the departmentSupervise Engineering AssistantsFacilitate continuous improvement efforts and the associated Kaizen eventsOwn and improve the assembly and fabrication processes on the production linesMaintain department layout and coordinate equipment moves through MaintenanceAssist in establishing and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOMs) and routing dataManage projects associated with the plant strategic directionSupport new product development activities in terms of process and product qualificationsAssist in evaluating Design for Assembly (DFA)Develop and maintain standard work processesUtilize standard industrial engineering tools for the quantification of labor and establishment of headcount templatesMonitor and adjust line capacities in response to product volume changesRespond to safety incidents and participate in safety initiatives for the departmentAct as the ergonomic resource for the departmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering is requiredMinimum of 2 years of engineering experience is required.
