Kforce is Hiring a Technical Content Writer Near Phoenix, AZ
- Create, edit, and proofread technical content to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Assist with creativon of content for Company hardware and software product use and installation, Company internal processes, work instructions, training content related to new products and other technical materials
- Develop new assets and revise existing collateral including spec sheets, brochures, user guides, installation manuals and release notes with input from the product owner
- Create simple graphics such as wiring diagrams, process flow diagrams, installation drawings
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and clarity to meet associated objectives
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to create content for the Company Learning Management System
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to deliver content for eBlasts, presentations, flyers, promotional materials, invitations, etc.
- Write compelling advertising copy
- Identify gaps in content and recommend new topics
- Complete projects within defined deadlines, and ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding, and style
- Deliver materials rated by customers as easy to use/easily understood
- Execute all projects on time and on budget
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a closely related field
- 3-5 or more years of experience, preferably with technology companies selling IOT products
- Proven experience as a content writer, with a portfolio of materials
- Experience in material development and execution to timelines
- Experience with publishing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or Dozuki required
- Familiar with document approval, revision control and storage protocols
- High-level writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Solid MS Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, customers, and other stakeholders
- Experience with other graphic rendering products such as SolidWorks Composer is desired
- Experience in IoT, Wireless, or hardware is a plus but not required
- Experience in industries such as consumer electronics, electronic manufacturing, medical device, aerospace, semiconductor would be a plus
- Experience working in companies that make electro-mechanical or electronic products would be ideal
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
