Kforce's client, a unique public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to work closely with its clients. This is a rare opportunity in public accounting : 100% remote, strong work / life balance, and a 40-45 hour work week - even in busy season!Summary : This role will be 65% corporate accounting / outsourced accounting and 35% tax.

The clients in general are small, rapid growth businesses. Your accounting work for the firm's clients will generally be high end accounting work (including month end close and financial statement prep);

any bookkeeping work for clients is handled by the firm's bookkeepers. So, if you have wanted 100% remote and work / life balance, this is the rare opportunity for you.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Advanced degree a plus
• At least 2 years of accounting experience
• Experience with month end close and financial statement preparation
• CPA a plus
• Experience in tax preparation a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.

This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
