Kforce is Hiring a Billing Supervisor Near Florissant, MO

ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client that is seeking a Billing Supervisor in Florissant, MO. This role is 3 months, temp-to-perm. You will work 3 days remote, 2 days in office. Responsibilities:
  • Billing Supervisor will serve as primary resource to staff by answering questions, assisting with problems, and providing direction to resolve identified issues
  • Creates efficiencies by improving processes and keeping best practices up to date while actively seeking methods to further process improvement
  • Engage, coach, and train new team members to ensure success of new team member and department goals are maintained
  • Monitors clean claim submission, timely denial processing, timely payment posting, timely refund processing, and reacts to any issues that prevent success in these areas
  • As a Billing Supervisor, you will maintain payroll including PTO requests, absences, tardiness, and approving hours worked
  • Responsible for generating performance review data for staff in the Billing Department or suggesting corrective action if necessary
  • Takes action to stay in tune with current and evolving changes with Insurance payers; Can act when an issue is identified for a specific payer to bring resolution on issue
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relative experience in a Revenue Cycle support supervisory position
  • Experience and exposure working in Revenue Cycle with insurance follow-up, payment posting, customer service, and refunds on the physician side is preferred
  • Experience in electronic practice management system - NextGen a plus
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
  • Ability to maintain composure in demanding situations
  • Ability to function and supervise in a team environment
  • Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
