RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Falls Church, VA is looking for a Test Engineer with test hardware development experience to support our Integrated Test Engineering (ITE) organization.
Summary:
The ITE organization's mission is to reliably deliver customer-focused, affordable test solutions which are integrated across all levels of production and engineering test. This role will experience the entire life cycle of a program to include bid and proposal, advanced development and demonstration, test design and development, product fielding, procurement, and sustainment. The Test Engineer will be part of a test engineering team throughout the product lifecycle. This person should have a strong background in Electrical or Computer Engineering, and possess a demonstrated ability in designing, developing, and deploying complex automated test systems, test applications, documentation, and selecting commercial Instrumentation for testing Military Comms, Navigation, and Electronic Warfare equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with architecting and designing test equipment hardware/test station used for testing: - analog, digital, RF circuit cards; - hybrid modules, - higher-level systems and subsystems
* Experiencing in the design and documentation of: - Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) - -9' test racks, including the selection of rack-and-stack instruments and PXI hardware - test cabling - custom test module design - definition/selection/design of custom switch modules/matrices
* Experience developing, releasing, updating hardware documentation for test requirements, test design, and operating procedures for acceptance test and environmental stress screening applications
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
