RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tysons, VA that is seeking a Systems Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Support capability and solution definition for future space systems through various system readiness events and independent review teams
* Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT's) working groups that will review and assess the maturity of engineering Artifacts, CONOPS, Interfaces, and Architecture products
* Participate in developing architecture and requirement baselines, establishing and assessing mission capabilities
* Provide project management support; development of requirements, project plans, needs assessment, and transition planning
* Assist in the creation of quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics
* Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures
* Participate in design reviews of to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation
* Apply the principles of MBSE to major system acquisitions in the GEOINT domain
REQUIREMENTS:
* Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
* Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
