RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior AEM Developer (Adobe Experience Manager) in San Jose, CA.
Summary:
As a Senior AEM Developer, you will be instrumental in supporting and advancing a portfolio of components and solutions in AEM that will help deliver an experience that is easy and flexible for content authors and a web experience that is stable and performant for end users. You will stay current on the latest offerings in AEM Cloud Service and help lead the team in implementing development best practices.
Responsibilities:
* Senior AEM Developer will develop and maintain AEM components in both on-premise servers utilizing AEM 6.5 and AEM Cloud Service
* Document and maintain best practices around AEM development
* Evaluate multi-platform solutions that align with strategic initiatives
* Work with front-end developers to translate code into HTL templates as well as handling various front-end tasks
* As a Senior AEM Developer, you will collaborate with multi-function teams to develop prototypes and solutions utilizing various AEM features and other technologies
* Mentor junior developers to help strengthen the team's overall skills and experience
* Present technical solutions, strategic decisions, and development outcomes to various groups for visibility
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience developing and architecting solutions in Adobe Experience Manager platform
* Proficiency in Java development along with an understanding of Servlets, Sling models, HTL templating, and various other development techniques relevant to AEM
* Understanding of front-end development including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
* Experience working in agile environment
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
