Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Release Manager in Indianapolis, IN.
Responsibilities:
* Release Manager will communicate project-related tasks (e.g., plans, timelines, requirements, etc.) across the organization
* Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates
* As a Release Manager, you will define and oversee the release management process
* Determine release launch viability and timeline
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-8 years of experience as a project manager with responsibility for delivery under strict deadlines
* Training in Agile software development; PMI PMO, Agile project manager, or SAFe certified agilest certifications preferred
* Demonstrated experience with supporting software delivery in a Federal IT setting
* Experience using software requirements management tools such as Jira, or IBM's Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) suite
* Experience with Software Quality Assurance practices, testing, and defect resolution
* Knowledge of DevSecOps delivery practices, especially the use of Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
* A high level of attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to coordinate tasks across multiple partner organizations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
