Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a .NET Developer for a contact opportunity with a large organization in the Leawood, KS area.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
* This role will be heavily focused on the upgrading of the .NET version leveraged in our existing code bases but will also be leveraged for adding small to medium business requested enhancements and features as well as troubleshooting and addressing bugs within existing applications
* Participate in the continual improvement of technical solutions, standards and processes associated with API development; This work may establish new guidelines and prototypes for others to follow
* This position is responsible for API development tasks; This includes interpretation of requirements, technical coding, and debugging; This also includes communication of these tasks across technical peers
* There is no mentorship requirement, however, as always, any added experience and perspective is welcome as we evolve our systems continually
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent (necessary to develop self-direction, writing ability, critical thinking, and foundations of programming and software delivery fundamentals)
* 4 years of experience in .NET development
* A solid understanding of the theory and architectures implemented in the commercial and open-source tools used to deliver service-based applications and portal delivery services is required; This is often not provided through technical certification schools, although technical schools often provide the specific training on the tools used in business integration environments
Professional expertise/theories essential to perform the job, knowledge of equipment, technology, and software:
* C#, REST, HAL, and F#
* SQL Server
* Service & API Design, Hypermedia Services, and GoF Design Patterns
* Agile Methodologies, Kanban, and CICD
* Visual Studio, GitHub, Octopus, Kubernetes, and AKS
* Relational Databases and ANSI SQL
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
