RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a L2 Network Security Engineer in New York, NY.
Summary:
The client has upcoming site deployments and will require skilled Firewall Engineers to support this work effort. The client environment is Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco (Meraki MX). There might be some additional work efforts around migrations/technology standardization down line.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-7 years of professional experience in IT Network/Network Security Engineering focused on Firewalls/Network Security for at least 4-5 recent years of their professional experience
* The candidate should be comfortable in operational and engineering tasks related to Networking/Firewalls
* Ability to work fairly independently, with minimal oversight/guidance.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
