RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client seeks a team of Intermediate & Senior Java Lake Formation Engineers in Wilmington, DE (Philadelphia area). These are quick opportunities for fulltime employment with client. Candidates in these areas are welcome to apply: Eastern MD, Eastern PA, NJ, DE, NYC and CT.
Responsibilities:
* Understand the current data lake modules and AWS Lake Formation data sharing
* Design & build solution for local tag creation, resource link creation & tagging
* Design robust error handling and retry mechanism
* Design & build reconciliation/remediation for any discrepancies with lake formation grants and the metadata stored
* Build and support lake house consumption model
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10-12 years of experience for Senior
* 7 years of experience for Intermediate
* Strong Java core and AWS Lake Formation experience; 70% work in Java & 30% Data
* API/API Gateway experience
* Lambda experience
* Experience with key tools for AWS Lake Formation - S3, IAM, EMR and Glue or Spark
* Critical tool experience
* Terraform experience is a plus
* Python experience is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
