RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Design Engineer 5 in Troy, MI.
Job Responsibilities:
* Design Engineer 5 will design and develop 3D CAD Models in Bumper, Fascia and Grille Design for Program SYNCs and releases
* Prepare sketches of ideas, detailed drawings, illustrations, artwork, or blueprints, using drafting instruments, paints and brushes, or computer-aided design equipment
* Modify and refine designs, using working models, to conform with customer specifications, production limitations, or changes in design trends
* Coordinate the look and function of product lines
* As a Design Engineer 5, you will confer with engineering, marketing, production, or sales departments, or with customers, to establish and evaluate design concepts for manufactured products
* Read publications, attend showings, and study competing products and design styles and motifs to obtain perspective and generate design concepts
* Design graphic material for use as illustration or advertising on manufactured materials and packaging or containers
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, or Engineering; Master's degree preferred
* 8 plus years of experience
* Plastic design and tooling knowledge (Exterior and BFG experience is a plus)
* NX and Teamcenter
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
