Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Authentication Engineer in Draper, UT.
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Cloud Authentication Engineer with expertise in managing and maintaining Microsoft Entra Single Sign-on infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in transitioning from Okta to Entra ID authentication systems and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cloud Authentication Engineer will manage and maintain a Microsoft Entra ID Tenant, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security
* Plan, execute, and oversee the migration from Okta to Entra ID authentication systems, including user provisioning, access controls, and integration with existing infrastructure
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess system requirements, design solutions, and implement best practices for system administration
* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure reliability
* Implement and maintain system security measures, including user authentication, access controls, and data encryption, in compliance with industry standards and regulations
* Automate repetitive tasks and streamline system processes to improve efficiency and productivity
* As a Cloud Authentication Engineer, you will provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving escalated issues in a timely and professional manner
* Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in system administration, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Or equivalent work experience
* Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or CompTIA Security are a plus
* 5 years of System Administration experience
* At least 1 year plus experience as a Cloud Administrator, with a proven track record of managing and maintaining enterprise-level systems
* Experience with identity and access management solutions, particularly Okta and Entra ID
* Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles
* Strong understanding of provisioning standards such as SCIM and JIT, and authorization standards such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML
* Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell or similar technologies
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
