RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst in Jersey City, NJ.
Core Responsibilities:
* Business Analyst will serve as the central point of contact between automation configuration team and business process SMEs
* Gather and review existing process documentation with process SMEs
* Analyze and clearly document business process requirements for the automation build including exception handling scenarios and process metrics such as volumes, SLAs, and cycle times
* Work with business process SMEs to identify potential reengineering opportunities to streamline the use of automation (e.g., use of an application interface vs. a user screen)
* Work with configuration analysts in the collection and documentation of solution design requirements
* Document operational run books that describe the steps of the automated process and exception scenarios
* Facilitate user acceptance testing and support remediation of production defects
* As a Business Analyst, you will deliver training to the business process SMEs and their teams on performing the new process using automation
* Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with business/system analysis and requirements documentation using agile methodology
* Must have strong experience/knowledge of JIRA and ability to organize business and functional requirements into EPIC, stories and maintain product backlog
* Ability to describe non-technical details to a technical audience
* Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Project) as documentation and visualization skills are critical to this role
* Awareness of automation design and development considerations including Agile methodologies
* Awareness about projects with API development, data migration, integration with external systems
* Hands on experience with Power BI is a huge plus
* Experience in banking, capital markets, or financial operations preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
