RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AWS Architect in Coral Gables, FL.
Responsibilities:
* AWS Architect will design secure architectures leveraging AWS native services
* Implement AWS IAC solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
* Conduct assessments of AWS environments by reviewing security architecture, service deployment, and operations
* Architect will draft cloud security deliverables based on assessment findings
* Work with subject-matter experts from other groups (Information Assurance, Governance, Cloud Center of Excellence) to understand internal process and functional requirements (e.g., GRC, AppSec, DFIR, IAM, SSO)
* Accurately and consistently document findings and recommendations that are easily digested by clients including procedural documentation and technical briefings
* Assist in developing new service offerings based growing cloud services
* Develop security best practices, templates, and blueprints for cloud services
* As an AWS Architect, you will provide support to our internal stakeholder in the area of cloud security engineering, architecting, and lifecycle support
REQUIREMENTS:
* Technical degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
* At least 1 AWS Professional or Specialty certification
* 4 years of developing technology solutions in the cloud
* 2 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in AWS
* Experience building out CDK scripts, CloudFormation and Terraform templates, and architecting production-grade enterprise-scale applications on AWS
* Strong familiarity with one of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, Nodejs
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
* Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders
* Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and techniques as needed
* Ability to create and present detailed reports and presentations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
