KFamily Solutions - Bryn Mawr is Hiring a Direct Support Professional (PT) Near Dedham, MA
Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. provides community and home-based support services to individuals with physical disabilities, brain injuries, and mental health disorders. Our team partners with family members and existing providers to create and achieve individualized goals that improve overall independence in home and in the community.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support individuals in learning, maintaining or improving on skills through their participation in a variety of activities of everyday life, including in their homes and in the community.
- Implement support strategies to achieve the individual’s personalized goals.
- Obtain and maintain government resources including, but not limited to health insurance, food assistance, SSDI, and housing assistance.
- Assist individuals with their personal finances and budget planning.
- Submit accurate and complete daily progress notes for each shift worked with individual.
- Positions are part time/per diem to start but possible to build case load up to 30 hours.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and existing insurance.
- Must be willing to drive individuals in personal car throughout the community.
- Relevant experience is preferred, but not required!
- Willing to comply with required policies, standards and regulations including, but not limited to background checks, reference checks, and driving record checks.
- Must have flexible availability.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- $250 Sign on bonus
- Create your own schedule - daytime hours preferred
