Job Summary

The Real Estate Development Intern will support various teams within Keystone. This internship involves the underwriting, analysis, due diligence, and formation of a business plan for a large-scale adaptive-reuse development partnering with the Internship team and others in a collaborative environment. This is a temporary position providing on-the-job training. Duties provide meaningful work experience and business knowledge to college students in their chosen field.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate an existing, functional redevelopment investment opportunity
• Conduct a thorough risk assessment to reveal all elements affecting possibility of the vision
• Develop a plan to repurpose and brand the property/area encompassing analyzing opportunities and researching the economic viability.
• Create a financial model that establishes the risks and potential returns.
• Develop a custom business plan identifying, describing, and analyzing the opportunity and examining the redevelopment feasibility.
• Design and deliver presentations pertaining to the assigned project, experience and accomplishments obtained while at Keystone to team members.
• Other responsibilities to be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, an energetic work-ethic, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical ability
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record may be required.
• Reliable and timely attendance required.
• Solid computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Has strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test and must adhere to the firm’s values and culture of commitment, collaboration, excellence, honesty, integrity, confidentiality, respect for others and trust.
