Description: Keystone Perfusion Services, PC is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Perfusionist to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia, as we partner with Chesapeake Regional Medical Center to launch a new cardiac surgery program. This is a full-time position offering a flexible schedule encompassing day shifts, night shifts, and on-call responsibilities.

As a Staff Perfusionist, your primary role will be to oversee all aspects of perfusion-related services, working collaboratively with the departments of anesthesia, surgery, and nursing administration. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safe and effective operation of equipment, techniques, and procedures, as well as conducting quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program
• Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
• American Heart Association or Red Cross health care provider BLS Certification

The ideal candidate will have highly effective verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to promote professionalism through involvement in professional organizations, teaching, research, publishing, and/or certification in an area of specialty.

We offer a competitive compensation range of $142,000 to $175,000, 401(k) company contribution, health, dental, vision insurance, flexible spending account, company-paid life insurance, paid time off (PTO), and CME reimbursement.
