Parent Educator Position Openings
Parents as Teachers

Keystone Parents as Teachers supports families with young children by providing:

  • Personal Visits
  • Screenings
  • Resource & Referrals
  • Group Connections

This position works with families in the USDs #450 Shawnee Heights:

  • Number of hours: 35 hrs/week

o Number of hours will depend on applicants and number of positions hired

  • Starting pay: $17 - $18.50 per hour

Requirements:

  • Ability to work a variety of hours (morning, afternoon, evening)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Reside in or near Shawnee County, Kansas
  • Education in early childhood or related field

Preferred Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in early childhood or related field
  • Experience working with young children and/or families

This is a very rewarding part-time job with flexible hours. Parent educators can work from home and travel to families.
