Pay : $16 / hr

Schedule : Monday-Friday

Job Responsibilities :

• Operating high-pressure hoses to blast away layers of paint from surfaces such as walls or floors
• Sandblasting equipment, including compressors, filters, hoses, nozzles, and pressure gauges
• Inspecting work sites to ensure the safety of workers and property
• Inspecting blasting operations to ensure that they are performed in accordance with safety regulations
• Cleaning tools and equipment to prevent clogging or other problems that could result in injury or damage to equipment
• Cleaning work areas before and after blasting projects to remove debris and dust
• Removing old paint from surfaces using a sandblaster or other blasting equipment
• Operating a computer to enter data about blasting jobs, including work order information and progress reports

Job Requirements :

• At least one (1) year of experience painting heavy duty vehicles
• Understands and follows all relevant safety procedures
• Ability to follow instructions, ask questions for clarification and take direction from management
• Ability to assume responsibility for own actions follow through on commitments
• Ability to complete work on time and with strong performance
• Determine the nozzle openings needed for sandblasting various surfaces
