KeyMark is Hiring a Developer Near Liberty, SC

The Developer – KeyMark Labs position is a .NET Full Stack development position. The role is responsible for participating in KeyMark Labs development efforts, both large and small. The person is responsible for helping the KeyMark Labs team define and execute the product roadmap for current KeyMark products (Forms InMotion, Tango, Tandem, Helix, etc.). In addition, the person in this role will be responsible for identifying and vetting new product opportunities that KeyMark can bring to market. A particular emphasis is on repeatable solutions that can be sold to existing KeyMark customers, through 3rd party channels (such as the Hyland Software user base, as one example), and to unaffiliated (net-new) customers.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Helping set technical direction for KeyMark Labs’ development efforts
  • Meeting with KeyMark’s customers and prospects in order to define and prioritize product requirements
  • Help establish go-to-market strategies
  • Identify new opportunities for innovative product offerings.

These activities will involve hands-on discovery, design, and implementation work, some of which will be billable to the customer, in order to ensure that an in-depth knowledge is acquired and can be applied determining whether any given effort is a viable candidate to be further developed into a repeatable solution.

Essential Duties & Specific Responsibilities

  • Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design, to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable systems using .NET technologies, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Perform unit testing, fix bugs or other coding issues.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide innovative software solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote code quality, security, and performance optimization.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in .NET development, and evaluate their applicability to our systems.
  • Interact directly with customers and prospects to gather feedback, analyze data, and use instincts to understand our users' needs.
  • Monitor and incorporate industry trends and innovations into products.
  • Research and author product requirements, including use cases and user personas.
  • Work closely with engineering to specify feature details, create user stories, drive delivery and UAT.
  • Create release and product-level feature/advantage/benefits documentation.

Experience

  • Highly prefer 3-5 years of full stack development experience
  • Prior experience working in a team-oriented application development environment
  • Familiarity with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure) experience preferred
  • Hyland OnBase experience a plus

Knowledge & Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in:
    • .NET Full Stack Developer, with a strong background in Agile development methodologies.
    • .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
    • Creating and using REST APIs
    • Agile, Waterfall, and blended development methodologies
    • Database design, SQL optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
  • Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., GitHub) and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in formal engineering methods, including documentation and communications both internally and customer-facing.
  • Strong understanding of end-user considerations required for highly intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly software applications
  • Working knowledge of customer satisfaction principle and disciplines
